I have the honour to transmit, for the consideration of H.E. the Acting Governor, the depositions in the case of Li Loi v. Chan Tik Cheung alias Sam Ching Sam, in which, the rendition of the latter is applied for by the Chinese Government.
2. The charge against the prisoner is that he, together with others, burglariously attacked the dwelling house of Kwan Shap-i at the Yung-K'i village in the district of Tak in Chinese Territory on the night of November 1886 (Kwan day, 12th day).
